Instructions
- Thaw the Rolls: Place the Rhodes frozen dinner rolls on a baking sheet, leaving space between each one. Allow them to thaw at room temperature until they are puffed and soft, usually about 2 to 3 hours.
- Prepare the Cinnamon Filling: Mix brown sugar, cinnamon (natural flavoring), and melted plant-based butter in a small bowl until combined. This sweet and aromatic mixture will be spread generously over each roll.
- Spread and Roll: Using a flat utensil, gently flatten each thawed roll until it’s about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly from edge to edge, then carefully roll the dough up from one side to form a spiral.
- Arrange and Bake: Place the filled rolls upright in a greased baking dish, leaving room in between to allow expansion. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Make the Icing: Whisk powdered sugar, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract (natural flavoring) until smooth and pourable. Adjust the consistency to your liking by adding more milk or powdered sugar.
- Drizzle and Serve: Immediately after baking, drizzle the icing generously over the warm cinnamon rolls. Serve while warm for the best experience.
