  • 100g plant-based cheese, sliced or shredded (plant-based)
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Fresh oregano leaves, chopped
  • 2 whole wheat burger buns
  • Fresh tomato slices
  • Olive oil, for cooking and optional spreading

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Burger Mix: In a large bowl, combine ground beef or plant-based mince with vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), smoked paprika, minced garlic, diced onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly to evenly distribute the seasonings.
  2. Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a thick, round patty. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help cook evenly and hold the tomato paste topping.
  3. Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. In the last minute of cooking, spread tomato paste (natural) on top of each patty and add a generous layer of plant-based cheese (plant-based). Cover the pan briefly to melt the cheese evenly.
