- 100g plant-based cheese, sliced or shredded (plant-based)
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Fresh oregano leaves, chopped
- 2 whole wheat burger buns
- Fresh tomato slices
- Olive oil, for cooking and optional spreading
Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Mix: In a large bowl, combine ground beef or plant-based mince with vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), smoked paprika, minced garlic, diced onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly to evenly distribute the seasonings.
- Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a thick, round patty. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help cook evenly and hold the tomato paste topping.
- Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
