Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate with red chili powder, soy sauce (natural), garlic and ginger paste, and vegetarian Worcestershire sauce. Let it sit for at least 20 minutes to absorb the flavors fully.
- Coat the Chicken: Lightly coat the marinated chicken in cornflour mixed with a pinch of salt to ensure a crunchy texture after frying.
- Fry the Chicken: Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and cooked through. Drain excess oil using paper towels and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a separate pan, heat oil and add finely chopped green chilies, garlic and ginger paste, and spring onions. Stir in soy sauce (natural), apple cider vinegar, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, red chili powder, and other spices. Then add natural gelling agent with a splash of water and stir until the sauce thickens to the right consistency.
- Combine and Serve: Toss the crispy fried chicken pieces in the prepared sauce until well coated. Garnish with fresh spring onions and serve hot for the best taste and texture experience.
Notes
- Marinate well to deepen the flavor of the chicken.
- Fry chicken in batches to maintain crispiness and even cooking.
- Adjust the spice levels gradually to suit your preference.
- Use fresh garlic, ginger, and chilies for better aroma and taste.
- Add the natural gelling agent little by little to avoid over-thickening the sauce.
